Would like to hear from some of you guys who are using those sonic type brass cleaners. Do they work well? Can you make your own liquid solution that works well? What brands do you guys recommend? thanks for your help.
Ultrsonic Brass Cleaners do they work who makes the best for the money?

They work great at cleaning but do not get the brass that shiny. Yes you can make your own solution with a little Dawn and Lemishine.
I use simple green and it seams to work fine about 10 squirts to the quart and if that does not get it clean enough add baking soda in small amounts(I very seldom do this) most of the time I just use a normal tumbler because of the dry time. as for brand all I have is a harbor freight cheepy
I like mine, but it takes longer than the solution/stainless fine media barrel tumbler.
Though, nothing gets my parts/revolver cylinders/BCG's cleaner than the ultrasonic. I bought the harbor freight cheapy... Works fine for me
