Without car tags, would you appreciate being stopped by every police officer because your car looks like the one they are looking for?

Well just do away with the tax and keep the stupid tag if it makes you feel safer.

Do cops pull over ever bicycle they see when there’s a crime involving another bicycle?
The crackheads ride bikes around running through people’s property stealing stuff all the time.

Tag registration pays for road repair, do you not believe that every car owner should not pay their fair share?
The $$$ doesn’t go to the tag agent, it’s a tax and goes to the state.

I also think there should be required vehicle inspections before you can renew your tag along with proof of insurance that is actually not just a piece of paper but verifiable through an insurance company. Lots of POS vehicles running around with uninsured drivers.

OMG NO!! I was raised in PA. Inspection is miserable! Now you not only deal with LE but you have to deal with all the crooked mechanics! It's a mess!
And costly!. To line their pockets the mechanics always find something.
Then there is the emissions test! Can't drive your car cause it blows too much "Green New Deal!"
Think the turnpike fees are bad? Enact this and I'll see you on your bicycle!

Just slightly OT but I have to transfer title today at the tag agency. The seller has paperwork for boat and motor (actually good till 26) but I don't see a plate on the trailer. And it's a homemade trailer. It has lights.
What am I in for Guys????

Trailer doesn't require tags or title.
Registration is for boat and motor.
You can get a trailer tag IF you go out of State.

For ID, I use a metal engraver and put my DL# on the trailer. I can identify to LE to prove ownership. Got a stolen horse trailer because I had it. Sheriff knows I have it on all my trailers.

When we moved one time- a notice didn't come and I missed renew on one- city cop wrote the old lady up with a $150 ticket about 10 years ago. The state doesn't forward renewals- have to change when you go to tag office. Also no renew notices on DL anymore- check and put reminder on your calendar.
