voting crowds

Normally I go across the street from my kids school and vote after dropping them off.
For my polling place there is no line and a good crowd is 250 for the whole day.
This morning however, you had to park up to 3 blocks away and there was a line out the door(7:30am)
Guess I'll try again at 3 when I pick them up from school.

Whats the lines like at your polling place?

Glad to see people are actually showing up to vote and not just complaining.

On my way to work, I saw one church that must have had over 100 people waiting in line outside the building and a few other places look really busy. It's good to see the turnout.

Mine was average. But no state seats are challenged.

And given that the Washita County vote in the Democratic Primary for President was Randall Terry (132), Barack Obama (95), followed closely by Jim Rogers (91), I'm betting a 60pt margin for Mitt Romney in this county.

Voted yesterday. In and out in no more than 10 minutes. Saw long lines today on the way to work.

Voted this morning, got there ~7:05am, and there were probably 15 people in front of my wife and I.

I tried at 7 am. My place is across from my house. there were 100's of people and the line was way out into the parking lot. Even in '08 it wasnt that bad.

We're hoping to slip in mid to late afternoon. Mostly old folks in our precint and I figure they all went early. All we have to do is beat the work crowd.

Where I vote, usually there's only 50 or so voters all day. I was #42 at 7:30am.

I was #207 at 9:15am.

No line other than having to wait about 30 seconds for a writing spot to open up.
