I've been out 14 times and only seen 1 doe which I shot.

my FIL drove in for thanksgiving and said he counted 21 dead deer on the median/shoulder of I40 eastbound near yukon. Anyone know what that's about? fleeing the woods en masse only to be cratered by cars? lol

I shot a four point the other day. I was soooo hoping to get a bigun this time but only saw this guy. I was happy to have him and was able to break in my new Encore with a 100 yard muzzle loader shot. He dropped in his tracks. Got my oldes son is first deer last year now Im working on boy number 2 his first deer.

I havent seen many bucks out there year, just a 6 point, 9 point, and a bunch of spikes. I've seen tons of does. I had two does standing about 10 yards in front of my box blind along with 34 turkeys about 50-75 yards out friday evening.
