Anyone know the best place to buy a whole beef? Not bothered to make a drive if it’s worth it. I have a friend wanting to split a whole beef and trying to find the best place…

Local ranch I checked out is $4.75 a pound… This ranch selling claims a 1/2 beef is 400-500lbs of meat.
Um...your order is ready....on the hoof.....at #6371 Future Ex-Wives Thread. You're welcome.

Corn adds thick, yellow fat. Natural fat is white. Grass fed has better flavor, and is healthier for you.

My pasture has wheat, rye, oats and barley mixed with bermuda and prairie grass. They eat well, year round.

Most producers shy away from dairy crosses because of less meat yield.
Yet, angus/jersey cross is the best tasting beef.

2 biggest factors in buying a whole (or even a half or quarter) is $$$$$. You are looking at $2000 +/-. Then, you need storage for it.

Plan, save and you will have quality beef for the price of hamburger.
