Looks like it's been around the block so I might suggest a new liner and feed rollers so you can't blame the machine....:bolt:

He was a hobbie‘st knife maker. It was only used to weld billets for Damascus. Bought it new and not a lot of use. He guessed less than 40 hours. It is dusty.

Never mig welded either. Still have my Miller 220 AC/DC. Always wanted a tig though. Got to do some of that on the job several years ago and it just kind of came naturally.

I still have a 1949 Lincoln Cracker Box that has a continual duty cycle Copper Wound. It can run Jet Rod all day long.
