Commodities, noway, cept for the cheese, most of that stuff was rotten.

Food stamps at least help grocery stores.

WIC is also a part of the "food stamp" program.

Ive got no problem helping farmers but paying them to not grow something is wasteful spending.

If you kick out the illegal aliens, who will work the farms?

There is a H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker Visa program for migrant farm workers.

You guys will never figure it out. Cut off unemployment beneftis that last forever. Put limits on other welfare progams. Once you force people off the public dole they will have to work, farm jobs. Any job. Of course the left wingers will always come up with a million reasons why you can't do that.

It'll take this country going through another Great Depression before the Okie's ever understand it. Keep supporting businesses and President's that cater to illegal aliens and you'll eventually get what you pay for. By then it'll be too late.

I was only pointing out that there's a legal venue specifically for agricultural industry.

The whole getting paid not to farm is a myth. I can only think of one farmer with idle farmland around here. The closest thing to getting paid for not farming are DCP payments which you can get even if you produce something.

I guess there is the CRP program but that is mostly utilized on poor farm ground that is not very productive anyways.

Farmerbyron what is the payment for no till. One farmer that I don't know very well said he is getting a big check for no till. He said "they pay for enrolling in no till and I don't have to work ground all summer, Hell ya, sign me up."
