It seems like we had quite a few local doves hanging around a couple of weeks ago but seems like they have moved on. I travel around the state a good bit but I am not seeing a concentration anywhere. How is it looking for everyone else?
i was seeing quite a few about a month ago. the rainy cool fronts seemed to have pushed those birds out. the good news is that the weather has been perfect for dove movement and i am seeing a bunch now. i was up at the lease sunday, which has never been much of a dove spot, saw around a hundred or so in the couple hours i was there. location is about thirty miles north of the metro.
Thought I heard good panhandle reports but from the armpit area things don't sound too good.
It's exactly this way around here. Kinda hard to pattern with all the water around. The weather looks real good for Sunday and Monday so hopefully ill hit some. Lots of Eurasian eared doves several mourning doves and have seen a few white wings around.

How often do you see white wings Dennis? I've never killed one in Oklahoma. Hell, I'm not sure if I've ever even seen one.
Getting to be a lot of Euro's around, I think I've shot two the last two years. I could shoot a dozen of them if I hunt from my driveway this year. Never seen a white wing around here. (other than white winged pigeons
