In 1987-88 I saw Sam Kinison perform 2-3 times in Tulsa. The last time at The Brady a couple sitting next to my friend and I were married by SK. They even brought their marriage certificate. They waited around and talked to "his people" and was invited backstage / to his bus or whatever.

Here’s some more Oklahoma boys that are about to hit the big time. Josh Meloy is from Hennessey, Ok. His band includes guys from all over our great state. A buddy of mine plays steel guitar with him, and he also plays some lead guitar in the recording studio. They have been playing all over the country and Canada this past year. In November, they will be playing the Ryman Theater in Nashville which is a very big deal.
