Found some Hornady 73 grain ELDM's at Cabela's today. Worked up Satterlee load test using Tac and N135.

Found some Winchester #41's for 100/1000 at Cabela's too.

My V3 will get some use tomorrow!

Shoot those 73's at 200 or farther and see if they work well.
Good luck tomorrow if you go.

They sit really low in the case too. It's the heaviest ELDM you can get in an AR mag I've read. I still had enough bearing surface to get a crimp on them.

Loaded up and tried some 130gr Berger AR OTM over H4350 in my second 6.5x47L today. Every component item was a proven "winner" in most people's books.

Pretty hard fail. Had one group that was a .599, but also two that were my first ever over 1 MOA for that rifle (1, and a 1.1).

The seating depth test wasn't very impressive when I first tried it, but I thought I could get it buckled down with charge weights...not sure that's going to happen.

About to move on and try another bullet and powder combo.

Darn those Bergers.
One thing hard to do because I am not used to doing it is make them jump a long ways to the lands.
I think berger states .040 to .130" jump.
I had some Bergers and at .060" they began to group tight. And a buddy told me to jump them .120"

It was against my religion to do so but that is what they wanted.
