What do you think about trench sights

Like on Kimber Ultra Rcp and Colt New Agent for ccw

They sure won't snag on anything at at close range are good enough for the job.

I've wanted to try them out for some time. I think they're cool, and a good idea.

I had a colt new agent in about a half a year ago, and the owner was unhappy with the trench sights, and wanted something more visible. I rounded out the trench with a 3/16" ball end mill and sunk a XS big dot tritium sight for a Kahr into tthe front of the slide. The U-trench led perfectly up into the round diameter of the big dot sight. The result was a nice, no snag sight that gave the shooter more feedback while shooting.

Get behind the gun, put the dot of the target and press...

I only have two guns with those type of sights. First is a Browning/FN 1910, and a Colt 1908 Vest pocket. Both very accurate guns for their size.
