What happens if the internet dies?

I was watching the news and they were talking the different schools who are using the internet based education models since this pandemic kicked off. And how they were having difficulty because of software/internet crashes. Which got me to thinking. A bunch of people have started working from home now and rely on it. Plus all the commerce that takes place online. People don’t even go grocery shopping anymore. Most if not all companies rely on it. Most if not all government entities have to have it for about everything they do.

So are you ready for when it takes a dump?

Maybe life would get a little more sane. I love what mankind can do with the internet *cough*porn*cough* but, it has also given the fringe segment a pedestal to stand on and gather more people. The internet is the apple tree of the tech world.
