What is the fascination with 22 right now??

Its about hoarding and selling at inflated prices. What I don't understand, is why didn't these people hoard all of this before this crap came along?

I fixed up a 10/22 for my daughter to shot, and now I want to get one for myself. I even got my dad hooked on 22 after he shot my daughters. It's cheap fun. I like shooting my hunting rifle too but at $1 a shot, going to the range I would rather shot the 22.
