My son in law is a landscaper and he has an app on his phone where he takes a picture of a tree or shrub and it tells him what it is. Don't know the name of the app but maybe search for it.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards persimmon now like some of the other fellas.

Persimmon that fruits or the ‘common persimmon’ that makes little inedible berries. May not know until it grows a little more. Common persimmons are used for decorative landscaping. The leaves stay greener longer if not all year.

I am siding with persimmon as well. They (fruiting trees) are wildlife magnets for a couple weeks a year.
