I want go deep sea fishing. Did a close offshore fishing trip a few years back in Gulf Shores. It was fun. Take a hunting trip for a moose or even a grizzly bear. Other than that live long enough to see this country get back to normal.

I have been 120 miles out of Galveston

What do you consider "deep sea"

Using any 8oz weight and dropping to the bottom, makes for and exhausting crank up.
Bites occur fairly quick, if there are any fish around. Bites don't mean hook ups.

I am ready to go again.

120 miles out would be great. We only about 20 miles. We wouldn't had went that far, but we got there about 2-3 days after a tropical depression and all the fresh water was in the bay and offshore. Had a great time yes it was quick and got tiring.
