What's up with the Midlength AR?.. and a sight ?

I just purchased middy from CMMG with the micro gas block. I'm going to replace the handguards with a rifle length free float quad rail and mount a sight that way. Mid length gas system, rifle sights.

CMMG also has their versions of the Dissipator with rifle length hand guards on carbines and midlengths.

hmm, the more I shop around, the more I like the idea of ordering a Del-ton custom midlength upper with a low-profile gas block, and installing a Troy MRF-RX 13.8" free float rail.

That would give me a mid-length gas system and the longest handguard and sight radius I can get. You can order those Del-tons with a chrome lined barrel and M4 feed ramps too, just like I want.
