When do all the ticks die?

Last time I went out to the lease to refill my little 6gal bucket feeder and swap cards in my camera was prob a couple months ago. I farted around abit just walking around, came back to the truck and was covered in little ticks. I can't drive to my feeder and don't have a 4 wheeler, so it's a pretty good walk thrrough the woods to get to it. I decided I wasn't gonna go thru that every couple weeks to fill the feeder, so I just packed everything up and took it home for now. I'd like to get back out there in a month or so and get things setup again, move my ladder stand and get ready for rifle season. So when do all the ticks die off?

they never totally die off but go dormant after the first freeze.

I feel your pain. Stepping into a bed of seed ticks is zero fun, especially when they start biting. Done it 3 times this year so far....

They dont. My dogs were found a few times with the little brown ones on them coming in from the snow this last winter.

Permethrin 0.5% spray. Spray it on your clothes and boots and let it dry. It will help tremendously. It will last several washes.

Same here. They are horrible and I have found NOTHING that gets rid of the on the dogs.

A friend at work said he spray dog flea/tick spray on his clothes with pretty good results.
I guess I need to get something so I can get out there and not catch some disease.
