I have seen reports of Winchester and Remington 22LR being available for purchase, but no federal. I like the federal the best, even though it is from the government. Could Obama have shut down the federal munitions plant with an executive order or something? Isn't that the government has to provide cheap, reliable ammo for sale part of the 2A and the whole reason the federal government is in the ammo business to begin with?? Something just isn't adding up.

I have been working in Dallas for a few weeks and all the same ammo issues here. No 22lr, BUT I got some 22 short which I found to be difficult to locate prior to all the madness.

Huh?

First POTUS wouldn't be able to sign a executive order like that without everyone knowing about it.
Second, Federal isn't like federal as in owned by the government. Federal Ammunition is owned by a publicly traded company.

Anyway... I don't have the answer why other than the typical mob rules when it comes to empty shelves because of the run on everything lately.

I must be just luckin out because I found about 8 bulk boxes of federal at Walmart last week in Sapulpa. I didn't buy any due to having plenty .22LR but hey they had it. I found 10 boxes of the same thing at Whitey's pawn in Sand Springs last week and 2 of them. Just keep lookin and you will find it cause it's out there.
