Which Savage Bolt Action .22?

Dang, Luke. I read this thread, decided to go look at the rifle they had left at sooner state, and now it is sitting in my back seat waiting for me to get off work. Once I put my hands on it, that was all she wrote.

It's official, I'm an impulse buyer.

Good to hear! I figured that someone would pick it up quick.

I bought a Shooter's Ridge 6"-9" pivot bipod clearanced for $39.99 at the Academy on I-240 over the weekend. Now I'm just looking for a scope. I will probably just pick up something relatively inexpensive that has a decent magnification and is not made in China for the time being. I'm not having much luck finding any BDC scopes with .22 calibrated turrets that are not junk or cost 3x what the rifle did. Hopefully I'll find something by the end of next week and post some updated pics...oh and maybe take it to the range too.

BTW, the Savage SKU for the fluted version with one piece base is 28702. The unfluted with two piece base is 28704.

I will definitely check out that scope Ronny. I need to do a little research and see if there is a 14x,16x, or 18x version as well.
