56 days and still waiting in Oklahoma County. Paid with USPS money orders 26JAN2012.

CCW class...8 hours and $60. Photos...$10. Ammo, 50 round...$30. Gas and lost wages to submit personal information and get fingerprinted...$100+. Fees to ask permission...$225.00. Second trip, lost wages and gas to the jail downtown when permit arrives...$100+. (About $525 total.)

Being granted my 2nd Amendment 'privilege'...priceless.
Submitting my data to the FBI...worthless.

I just called the OSBI to check the status, but the sheeple aren't allowed to talk to a real person. We are welcome to leave our full name, Social Security number and birth date and they might call us back, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I didn't bother blindly leaving everything a pirate would need to steal my ID on some random answering machine, since they would likely either not bother to call me back, or if they did, I'm fairly sure their response would be to check nothing and remind me they have 4 months to get around to it.

Oklahoma County is open 24/7 you can even go in the middle of the night. That way it only cost you the extra gas to go and not lose any wages.

Oh, cool!

I figured they would only issue our 2A privilege from something like 9 to 11AM and 1 to 3PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays that fall on odd-numbered days.
I don't know if they were pleasant with you when you dropped off your paperwork or not . But they were very nice to me. From the lady who took my paperwork and made sure I filled it out right, The lady who took my fingerprints and wanted to talk sport. And even when I went to pick it up and the lady was trying to find me under my middle name and I accused her of trying to change my name . I did not think she was going to stop laughing. I will be the first to admit I thought they might treat me rude during the process but was pleasantly surprised.

The lady was fine when I dropped off my package at Quail Springs. She looked over my application and showed me a little error to fix. Overall, the Deputy lady was very nice and actually helpful.

I'm glad to know that they are nice at the jail. I've never been in a jail before and it does make me a little apprehensive.
