Get off my lawn.
One old dude behind the counter at the 240 store got all huffy with me when I was buying a gun. I was telling him what I wanted and what they had and he took offense that I was telling him how to do his job and he'd been doing it for 3 years. You should have seen the look on his face when he realized I was 100% correct. He wouldn't even look at me in the eye after that.

I see comments like this a lot, but I've always been treated well when I go in there. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Some people can never admit their mistake even when slapped in the face with it. In his eyes he still wasn't wrong, you're just an @$$hole for being right.
I'm sure the scene happened something like this: :pokeowned

The worst customer service that I had just a few weeks ago was with "Wise Guy" auto window tint and dent removal shop in Norman. Their name really suit the way they do business. They'll lie and give you false promise to get your money. Stay away from "Wise Guy in Norman".:offtopic:

CapitalOne - I know my english is not that good and sometime I can't pronounce the word right but when I called capitalone I had to apologize to a person on the phone with me because I don't know what he said and he was being very rude. I don't really have to be nice to him but I think if I can hold my temper I will get better result. Businesses are smart they hired a group of people from India for customer rep, that way they can piss off their customer better.

Target Master Gun Range in California: the clerk said, you glock will not do the job when winter come, the plastic part will shrink and cause the to jam. I am not a gun expert, so I ignored him and asked to get me a lane. Good god what kind of BS is that.

It wasn't BAD customer service (in fact, it was pretty good), but it still amuses the hell out of me...

I went into... I think it was Atwoods here in Norman... because I heard they had ammo cans for sale.

They did not, but the manager was really pretty awesome about calling around and trying to help me find one.

After a bit, he looked at me and asked, "What are you wanting to do with it?"

I kinda blinked at him and said, "I kinda thought I might put some bullets in it...."

He laughed and said he thought maybe I wanted to make a flowerpot out of it.

Slightly O/T here:
Okay, yes plastics and polymers have a higher thermal coefficient of expansion than steel, but the amount of "shrinkage" on a gun would be so minute I have a hard time seeing how that could be a factor. We're talking about hundred thousandths of an inch in difference in total contraction. LOL
