If, in this scenario, Texas citizens were able to exercise more rights along with less government (both in terms of size and scope), then yes I would move there. Being American for me is about ideals, not in which country's borders I physically reside. The further America slips from its ideals, the more attractive other places will be for me to live my life along with my wife and kids
