I've watched that several times. Don't get me started. My feelings on this would get me banned from this site, but I feel for anyone who has to call that band of highway robbers.

I don't see a problem with it. If you don't want to pay those outrageous interest rates then don't borrow money from them. It's pretty simple.

You guys would be amazed at how many of my clients get advanced loans on their cases from national companies, despite my repeated advice not to do so. I make them sign a form stating they are doing it against my advice and they understand I will not reduce my fee.

Has anyone seen these "Western Sky" Commercials? They are a Cash Loan business and it's UNBELIEVABLE to me how much they charge in interest.

Roughly 140%

Of course, since it is on Indian land it is legal.

Here is a link about some of their practices:

just how much you think a pawnshop charges?
western sky you sign and walk.
the pawnshop you have to give your valuable stuff to hold.

There is a huge difference between a pawnshop and this company. Pawnshops are intended for a short term loan. If you borrow $20, you'll pay $24 to pick it up. You're not obligated to pick it up. You're going to pay $41,000 on a $5000 loan according to their website. HUGE difference there. It's usually cheaper to pay the pawnshop interest rather than paying an overdraft or late charge.
