Out of everythign ive seen and used, the Burris TAC-30/MTAC and Vortex Viper PST are the absolute best budget choices for 3gun.
One i havent tried, but gets good reviews is the Weaver 1-3x. it is not illuminated and doesnt have a fancy reticle, but it is solid and good sharp/clear glass with a great FOV and eyebox which is important. I think it can be had for under 200 bucks too.
Mounts are the standard JP, LaRue and ADM. Or the Burris PEPR on the cheap (i have 2, which they were LaRue but they work and are solid and cheap)
