Don't care about the race of either person in this incident. Heck, it was a minority on minority crime. All I care about are the facts and the facts, as we know them, indicate it was a case of self defense. In hind sight there are things they both could have done to avoid the outcome (isn't that always the case?), but it is what it is and what it appears to be is self defense.

But I will say I believe (as do many others) that race is the only reason this is national news. Race and the push to abolish our second amendment rights.

Disprove what argument?
That you shouldn't label all people the same? That you shouldn't generalize an entire race of people based upon the actions of a few? The statements that I originally commented on were attributed to black people. I am a black person and none of them were tru of me or my family. That is where I take offense. When you encompass the entire race of black people, you include me and I take it as a personal insult.

Or that I'm not good at being a racist? The last comment above was a bit tongue-in-cheek but you probably couldn't tell because of my accent. I don't believe that I've labeled an entire group of people as anything.

I'll be glad when Obama is no longer president so closet racism can go back in the closet. Blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, and the French all got along swimmingly when Bush was president.

Ohhhhhhhhh! I hate to wade into this. My opinion; the European Americans are to become the nation's largest minority. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily, maybe in other countries, but not here. I think the European Americans will maintain about the same population growth, as will the African Americans. It is the Latinos that will be the demographic earth movers. Just look at Zimmerman - he's a Latino. And he's an earthmover. At least for CNNs ratings...

Lets not kid ourselves, TM was a thug as I see it in the evidence. That doent have a dang thing to do with his skin color BUT the majority of the black community are up in arms because he is dead. They give no accountability for his miss guided actions or maybe his lawfull actions, they want and eye for an eye. Now tell me thats not because a black teen was killed by a white/hispanic man.
