Yes, yes, by all means go out and defiantly wear those guns! If you encounter an LEO, loudly proclaim in your most condescending manner that he has no right to "hassle" you BY GOD. Tell him you will sue his pansts off (even though you support tort reform, bcause..hey..when it's you...it's OK to sue, when it's someone else they are faking or bitching about nothing)!

Yes, you will be a credit to all gun owners! We thank you!

I'm not out to piss anybody off. I just think it's a serious waste of public resources and police manpower to literally stop EVERYBODY you see that's more than likely lawfully carrying a gun just so you can get the one occasional bust of an actual bona-fide criminal. If I open carry, I'll look into getting one of those ID holders that clip on the belt.
You mean there might actually be a use for those badges and sashes we have been making fun of all these years?

If I read the immunity waiver correctly, it's entirely possible that the individual officers will be the ones getting hurt in the end if they hassle the wrong person. Personally, I like the idea of waiving qualified immunity--providing personal (rather than institutional) consequences provides motivation to learn and follow the law, regardless of whether you're a public or private actor.

Yeah...good luck with that. :rolleyes2

Better idea, maybe several hundred of us should visit that area and see how well that works for them??

I'd drive the 2 hours to participate, just to piss them off!!

I suppose it was only a matter of time before the chest-beating began......

And we wonder why the anti's say pistols are compensatory tools for a small penis.:rolleyes2

If you really mean what you're saying, why do you need a couple hundred people to back you up?

Man up, go by yourself, and deal with the consequences.

Some people put a lot into getting open carry passed; it doesn't need to be undone by stupidity.

Do you see a difference between stopping everyone who is open carrying to see if they have the proper license and stopping everyone in Arizona who looks Mexican to see if they're an illegal? Because I certainly don't.
