Really?? What do they say about the fact that there were uniformed, on-duty police officers helping to move those barricades??

The pics the OP supplied showed SWAT teams, and NPP with multiple restraints attached to their belts, in anticipation of mass arrests. Again, I ask who gave the order to stand down? Or was it voluntary across the board. If orders to arrest were ignored by the rank and file, and disregarded by the folks on the ground, KUDO's to them.

I just wonder if there will be repercussions to them for allowing it?

I wouldn't know. I was just commenting on one of the pictures I saw -- the one where uniformed, on-duty officers were helping to remove barricades ...

You might want to go back and look at the others. Armored vehicles, etc.

I saw those pictures too. Obviously they didn't mow the "terrorists" down ... You know, a "show of force" ain't worth much if you don't have the balls to stand behind your order. I'd bet you a cup of coffee DC brass had no idea this thing would pan out like it did and ... well ... My observation is that nobody really wants to fire the first real shot ... Thank God ...

Absolutely. The first day of the lock down of the open air monuments, the vets in wheel chairs pushed through them anyway.

Good for them.

Maybe the rest of us need to get the cajone's those folks did, and do something.

It is slowly happening. One of the restaurants the feds closed because of being on federal land has reopened in defiance and people are flocking there. Others are doing similar things.

If the American public will remember this come election time and vote every single one of the MoFo's out of office, regardless of party affiliation, it might send a message ... Whether "they" get it or not is an entirely different story ...

I agree, BB

But, we will never get the inner-city vote! Plus GOP has habit of picking lame ducks , as president candidates !
