I havent forgot who ran against them. Gore, Kerry, McCain and Romney.....Im convinced 100% without any doubts that I would vote for Bush an Obama again.

People brought it up sooner than me. And when dealing with Obama to say race does not matter is very naïve. it should not matter, but does more so to his supporters.

Also the fact Obama gets a pass for being black is far from irrelevant and the fact people are too stupid and too politically correct in some cases to admit it is beyond me.

Race being brought up the way it was is actually legit, but misstated somewhat. The painful truth is that the media and congress are afraid to hold him to his oath and the law. That is due to the fact that he is the first black .prez, with all undo respect to Slick Willy.

Painfull? Yes since 99.8% of the country could care less what his skin color is. But that doesn't change the fact that it's true. The media find convenient since they are all democrats, so it's just kind of icing on the cake for them. As for congress they are more worried about politics than doing right for the country. That's pure fact folks...

If you are a gun guy you don't act like it. Bigotry is wrong. No two ways about it. Its wrong though to let people slide because of their color as well. I just get tired of it when people point it out.

You want to see racism look up what blacks and other libs say about black conservatives such as Cain, Carson, and Thomas.

Racism is saying blacks should no be president. Facts are pointing out that Obama gets more leeway because people are afraid to be called racist.

You didn't join this forum until 6 months AFTER Bush was out of office, so you don't know squat about what was said around here when he was. There were quite a few of us who were not at all happy about what he did as POTUS. The only real differences are that no one ever doubted his conviction that he thought what he was doing was right, and he NEVER whined like a little baby that everything was all Clinton's fault like Obama and his defenders have.

As for Obama's defenders, every time someone criticizes his performance, they come pouring out of the crevices to cry "RACISM!!!" to shout everyone else down. I wouldn't agree that Affirmative Action is why Obama gets away with being such a terrible president, but not one single person can deny that his buddies use it like interlocking Roman shields to protect him from pretty much every consequence imaginable.

You'll never get me to say GB was a good president, but he has more honor in his little pinky that Obama will ever have. You can take that to the bank!

Another interesting take away is it seems "white" people will use the race card to defend Obama faster than minorities. both use it, but it is really crazy to see Jimmy Carter blame all Obama's woes on racism.
