Why do you want to call someone anti-homosexual if they are against same sex marriages? Do you know that Elton John was at first opposed to calling same sex unions "marriages"? You think there are LGBT folks that don't want to do what "breeders" do?

Not anti-homosexual in the least and could care less what you and RidgeHunter do in the privacy of your trailer down by the river.

The point had nothing to do with constitutionality or government policies influenced by religious beliefs. Rather that someone who is a "faithful believer" might have a small amount of insight into a Christian's crisis of faith on the issue. Instead he seems to have an axe to grind...

Do I feel that same sex marriage is constitutional? Probably so.

As a Christian does that mean that I need to approve of and celebrate it? No and no.

Does that make me a bigot? I guess so...

I do have an axe to grind. I'm sick of Sunday Christians trying to pick and choose chapters from the bible to tear apart other humans when they themselves can't even follow the Ten Commandments.

If you are anti-gay and cannot verbalize an opinion other than "God said" then you might be a bigot. It's ok to be a bigot, just own it, wear it proudly, it's who you are.

So an atheist cannot be against same sex unions? He/she cannot have an opinion if it disagrees with your vision of intolerance? People cannot be against something without someone calling them names like “bigot”?

Which is fine, no one owes an explanation …people would reasonably assume

So it’s “fine” not to give an explanation but not because people who have reading comprehension issues may assume otherwise while they are in a counterclockwise orbit of Uranus?

To point, “reasonable” people typically would ask questions or come to a concrete understanding of the definition before inferring that someone is a “bigot”.

The point of my comment was that there are LGBT people that don't want to have a "marriage". To that, objecting to same sex marriage does not have to be based off of religious beliefs or lack of religious beliefs.

Give everybody a gallon of Astroglide and be done with it.

I think it is irony....and what he meant to say was "I couldn't care less" but now he left it open to interpretation("I could care less"). So it could be the only thing he cares about in the world....you should feel proud that he cares so much, even though he could care less!

I see no one wants to legislate divorce into an illegal act. I wonder why......
