Reminds me of Coney Island on Main Street in OKC. Getting just one, is waste of time. 3 or more for good quality meal. With hot sauce.

I used to eat there a couple of times a week back around 2000-2003 when I worked downtown. Love that place! I would usually get 6; 3 #1's and 3 $#2's.

All this talk of beans n cornbread...

...Joel, let me know how you like the hot link over ham. I'd try that myself but I need to get some ham outa the freezer that I been saving for this first.

Welp, personally I usually prefer Hot links in muh beans over ham; but that's not to say that fixing them with ham is a bad option either. Every now and then, I want 'em with ham. And big slices of Sweet White onion! The from-scratch cornbread cooked in a cast iron skillet is a given, unless ye be an unwashed heathen who would be happy with Jiffy cooked in a cake pan. Try preheating the skillet for about 10 minutes, then melt about a Tbspn of real butter in it and swish it around before you pour the cornbread mixture into the hot, buttery skillet. It gives it a deliciously crispy outer crust that is the best ever. If you use margarine rather than real butter, refer to comment above re: unwashed heathens...

P.S.
Braums Hot Links are not Scwhabs. How can I be so sure? Cause I have both kinds in my refrigerator and there is plenty of difference. I prefer Braums Hot Links, but if unavailable, Schwabs will do fine.

Folks are nuts, losing their collective minds.

We are out of ice melt, had 5 pallets come in last night, doors opened at 6am and folks are busting thru the doors trying to buy all there was, we had a limit then kept reducing the limit down, got yelled at...

We have no heaters, sorry folks, out and no more in bound.. more yelling....

Out of 20lb propane and small camp bottles of propane, sorry folks, no eta on resupply, more yelling only about how much I dont care if their babies freeze to death....

Out of generators, yup sorry folks no eta on resupply...again more yelling, what are we supposed to do when the power goes out..

Only bright spot was a couple walking out and the man mumbling about us being out of heaters, the wife smacked him on the arm and said well its not like you did not know we are in winter, it happens every year this time, you would think you would know to be prepared, LOL...as they walked out the door, I about lost it...LOL

We made a list, wife's been running errands all day getting us stocked up. She got some water softener pellets, a camp stove and some propane, as well as a 2nd propane tank for the outdoor grill. Buncha groceries, lotta Vienna sausages, crackers, etc.

Oh, and I went to the liquor store - 3 bottles of rye and a half gallon of vodka, that oughtta get us through the worst of it, considering I've got a goodly stock of Scotch and she's got plenty of wine.

We're ready, bring it on!

<edit> Oh, and now you've got me craving some of that cornbread!
