    Range near OKC?

OKC Gun Club has a NRA 600 yard range in addition to the 300 yd benchrest range. There is also a 1, 2, and 300 yard range over at the action pistol/rifle area. OKCGC is one of the better shooting establishments I have ever been associated with. It also has archery, pistol and rifle sillouette...

1st Coyote of the Year...Bad Pic

Good shootin' I'm sure wanting to go to Greer Co. to hunt. Problem is it is often so windy it is tough to call. I am wanting to use some of the scents this time to see how they work attracting the "yotes."

Is a fanny pack ghey, even for hunting use only?

I have a camo fanny pack too, but it is pretty large, has several pockets, and carries water bottles. It's good for close to the truck hunting, and I can carry all of the headlamps, skinning gear, knives, and calls in it as well. I'd carry a hot pink one if it would scare off the road hunters.

Is a fanny pack ghey, even for hunting use only?

I vote for the Orange bird hunting vest. I got one with lots of pockets, have a lanyard on it and use it to carry my seat cushion in the game pouch. It works well.

Thanks for the advise. I have an area to hunt in Greer County, and I was hoping to try out an electric call there.

    Foxpro Spitfire

Thanks. I was thinking of getting the Foxpro with the decoy built into it, but man is it expensive. Sure is nice to know I don't need to spend the extra money.

Here is a new PETA poster.......NOT

I was wondering about the FOXPRO fury. Sure is pricey, but maybe it is worth it.

    Electronic Predator Calls?

I appreciate the advise too. does anyone have any experience with the new FOXPRO that has the wiggling furry tail on top of it. It's a lot of money, and I was wondering if that was worth it.

    What are YOU prepping for?

I'm just prepping. Being prepared should be the norm. It is our responsibility. The preparations (or lack of) you are making today will decide whether your family will experience a "Walton's Mountain" or "Mad Max." I want the Walton's mountain. Hand pump for my well, food, chickens, goats...

    Hand Water Well Pumps

I just bought a hand pump from Bison hand pumps. It seems well made, and once installed the above ground hand pump can be removed by turning 1/4 turn. I am hoping to get it installed soon and can give some feedback. It fits down into your existing well right beside the electric pump pipe. I...

    prepper/survival clan

I believe networking with like minded people with the same values is going to be necessary. Different skill sets and different prepper focuses will be good. Some people want to see lots of chaos and even anarchy, but I always say - The preparations you are making now are going to be the...

Anyone else have problems with electronic scales?

I use an RCBS electric scale and I have found even a breeze from a fan can result in what you are talking about. I remedy this by leaving it in my reloading cabinet on a convenient shelf. I just bought a charge master to hook up to it, and I noticed it has a shield to keep wind off of the...

mp pro factory sights and sights suggestion

Thanks for the info about the M&P pro sights, Mike. Since I have two - one for Anne and One for Jennie, I have been trying to learn more. I need a good trigger for Jennie's - Anne's already has one (I got it from M. Chambers) but I don't know which one it is. Is a drop in good for the M&P?

    OKC Gun Club proration?

Keep in mind however, that we members at OKCGC do appreciate your service. It would be tough to pro rate things like that, and my son is in the military too, stationed in San Diego, but he still considers OKCGC his home range. He shoots there at Lina Fuego range. I did get there to shoot an...

    OKC Gun club waiting list?

OKCGC is one of the friendliest places to shoot. Good people, and good times. Come to one of the IPSC shoots. First Sat of the month. It is good fun, and you'll learn a lot. Hope to see you there.

They think those big clips kill?

this past summer I went to California to visit my son (there in military) and took him his Sig Sauer P226 so we could shoot an IPSC match. I went to the trouble of buying him 5 10round mags so he would be legal and could practice with same pistol his sidearm is. It seemed everyone had standard...

Help With Contiguous State Rule For Gun Purchases

I hope it is possible. My son is in the Military in San Diego. He is buying a Sig Sauer 226 (like his service arm.) I don't want him to get into trouble. His legal residence is here in OK.
