Sorry about your blind....I have one 15' tall on a windmill frame....used boulders to hold the legs in place. I had to use the bull dozer to move the boulders into place so its pretty stout. The boulders are at least 600 to 700#'s each. I used one in the center and four around the outside.
I doubt that's going anywhere!

The blind I put up two weeks ago didn’t make the wind yesterday.
It was well anchored but one of the legs must have been under a lot of strain and collapsed to bring the blind down.
Think I’ll cut off the remaining three to the same length and stand it back up.

Dang it! I hope the damage is minimal.

Use a screw in anchor in the center of the legs and cross cables through the eye on the anchor to the opposite leg. Use a stick or rebar to tighten the cables. I’ve got one still standing in the bald open since 2004. :thumb:

Lot of movement this morning, nothing on the shooting list so far. Watched this little fella for about 30 minutes.
