I’ll never understand people that wear camo head to toe and sit in box stands. All I can figure is that they want to be inconspicuous as they climb the ladder and close the door to the stand.
I usually wear all black when I hunt in my ground blinds. I noticed one day walking in the afternoon how they are all black inside and thought "hey, I should wear black so I blend it". I think it works but deer are smart so it may be just me making myself feel better.

Agree 100% for ground blinds. I primarily hunt from elevated ladder stands but don't figure mixed camo would bother the deer any.

I know a guy that wears regular clothes to where he parks his truck, strips down and puts on his matching camo that’s been kept in a scent free bag, and when he gets to his box stand, he sets up an ozonics machine. The crazy part is he gets busted by deer almost every time he hunts.🤣

I didn’t anticipate killing anything and intended to go to church after getting out of the stand.

Shot a nice deer while wearing jeans and an OU hoodie once. Made the last minute decision to run up to the lease. Didn’t have enough time to go by the house.
I was remembering today dad and I hunting back in the 70’s wearing jeans and a solid red sweater and a red hat every once in a while dad would fire up a Marlboro red we always seen deer it never seemed to bother them
