30/30 winchester. Out of a 10in bbl tc contender i got off here last year. Crazy part is I only had time for a 45 min sit, and it all played out. Came in at 30 yards. First shot quarting too me, he ran around a big cedar and stopped just in a clearing at about 35 yards and I let him have another. After that he went 55 yards and laid to rest. Been watching him for 2 years and I was going to let him go another year but rules change when I pistol hunt lolWow! heck of a buck! Congrats! What caliber?

Follow up shot. First one a little back but slowed him down. 7 mag might be a little much especially at 80 yds!SOB givin’ you the crazy eye haha.. Nice headshot!
There’s no such thing as overkill. I’ve shot a bunch with a 286 grain bullet out of a 9.3x62 and 9.3x74. Coyotes can’t be dead enough to suit me.Follow up shot. First one a little back but slowed him down. 7 mag might be a little much especially at 80 yds!
