.22lr ar upper questions...

My goal is to make it cheaper to go shoot on the Ar platform...I don't suppose that I'm really "training" for any thing, so the bolt release wouldn't be an issue.

I think I remember Marksfirearms advertising those a couple months ago.

I have the Spikes Tactical ST22 Upper in 22LR and it can't be beat. The barrel also has the 1:16 twist rate.

Dedicated units will have the proper twist. 5.56 is not going to provide the best accuracy with it 1-7 or 1-9. Check out Nordic Components. Nice looking outfit with ability to dry fire without dinging the chamber. Would be a nice outfit with a can.
