Throw stones? Not throwing stones just trying to understand what Wal-Mart he is shopping at, because you could rock shopping at Whole Foods and come real close to that per person $ amount per week if shopping frugally, so how and what is he purchasing at wal-mart that costs that much? That is all I am wondering, because their is a better way, hell just having a small fluorescent setup in a garage growing tomatoes and potatoes as well as bean varities you can save thousands a year for around $300 a year and 15 minutes a day.

Let's not get into the whole my job is hectic my time is valuable crap either. Because that is the main excuse I see to justify poor nutritional habits as well as the expense they claim is great when it need not be.

Sorry, guess I am not an expert on Wal Mart. I bow to your greater knowledge, I did not realize that you were an expert on his family. Forgive me.

I was listening to a caller on the Rush Limbaugh show complaining that his wife was losing 56.00 per pay period (caller stated two week period), yet complained that they were in the lower end of the middle class. That math doesn't add up. Unless there was another tax that increased other than the 2% payroll tax, that 56.00 would represent about 2700.00 every two weeks.

That seems a far cry from lower middle class, since the husband was working as well.

thats $1344 out of her check for the year.

Depends on the cost of living. Apartments in NYC cost as much as a 6000 sq ft house in Oklahoma.

They will take a big bite of pre-tax savings accounts sooner... or later. Say bye to your 401k.

I agree. I barely trust 401Ks as it is. Taxes are going to keep going up and up and when you finally get to the point where you can use it there won't be much there. At least some companies are offering a Roth option.

You think the owner of your or any other business will be happy with the same kind of hit on his pay check? No, he will reduce overhead and raise his prices to make up the difference until he is out of business. Less $ on your paycheck with more lay offs and inflation coming, add in the insurance costs, we are truly in for the "change" he campaigned on, people just did not read between the lines. The objective is to transform us into a 3rd world country. Hang on, we are on the way.

It is amazing to me this is such a surprise to so many people. Too late now.
