Yea I wish I never bought into that 6.5 creedmoor.
Probably the least shot rifle I have not including the 32-20 Marlin Ballard.

Yep, those calibers even make up for a bad shot placement. I would think they would take down any animal out there with a well placed shot. If you can even graze a brain stem its over for a coordinated movement, still might be an advancement toward you, but in most cases the second shot will slow that tremendously. Those Heart and Lung shots can be slow sometimes, that is why I like a Grey Matter shot over a Heart shot in most cases. Accuracy is Key along with a Cool Head.I’ve finally got my mind around the fact that I can kill anything I’ll realistically encounter with a 308, 270 Win, or 9.3x74r, so I think I’m done exploring new calibers.
Definitely need a lot of Space to enjoy a 6.5 CR. or any caliber of the nature. After the excitement wears off it becomes a lot of work to set up targets and practice. Even when you have a good place to shoot them. Most people can't even find a good safe place to shoot them after a purchase. 44 mag or 357 mag, pistols might be some of the best guns to own for versatility. It should be legal to Hunt any game animal you want with them in my opinion.Yea I wish I never bought into that 6.5 creedmoor.

My 1200fps and 1400fps 115gr flatpoint loads had my 32-20s about the most effective game getters ever owned, .22LR quiet and recoil, neatly took anything from deer on down, deer shots were close, though, but had perfect front 1/3 expansion to .45cal at 1400fps and magnum handgun hydrostatic shock, just avoid heavy bone or go for between eye and ear, a sub-1"/50yd rifle all day long...great little round...the 1200fps for turkey on down.Yea I wish I never bought into that 6.5 creedmoor.

Looks like you can shoot yourself in the face with that oneNot all AR pistols are the same. View attachment 529596
One has a butt stock the other has an arm brace that is all I know and my buddy has one of them with arm brace and it is difficult to hold like a pistol and stay on target for me.
Just too much weight.
