Have a friend getting a 2025 Expedition, it appears that the 5.0 Coyote is not an option! Top engine the Ecoboost 3.5 liter.
The Coyote was never an option in the Expedition. When they finally merged the Expedition onto the F-150’s platform, they retired the 5.4 and the 3.5 EcoBoost became the only engine in the Expedition. It was a controversial choice at the time, but it hasn’t really hurt the Expedition’s sales.

There was a known issue with the back windows leaking and at one point dodge was fixing them. Chris Nikels tried to charge me out the @$$.. my passenger floorboard would get super soaked (like I had to use a shop vac) They tried saying the back window was leaking and needed resealed but would have to put a new window in as they always break when removing them.. funny thing is the back of the truck was never wet. After the 3rd time in and me complaining they decided there was a rubber seal in the firewall was bad and the AC was leaking back in the cab.. i even told them this was most likely the issue the 1st time in when it happened. What a headache but it’s fixed and hadn’t happened again. I was seriously thinking about trading off this truck I had only had for 6mos. But I am once again a happy hemi owner View attachment 546186
Will never take my ram there again after my experience.

+1 on Chris Nikels service department. They suck. I have a 2015 Ram Laramie diesel. I used to do all my own maintenance but figured since I turned 70 I would pay someone to do it. Took it to CN for an oil change and got it back with old dirty black diesel oil dripping from the undercarriage. They had apparently spilled oil from the filter and then neglected to clean it off. I tried them again for my next oil change and got it back the same way. I’m done with those idiots!
Edit to add: truck has 120k miles on it and I did every oil change it ever had and never spilled a drop so although I will admit it ain’t easy, it can be done.

Well, after today's rain shower in Tulsa it is confirmed that Seth Wadley sells leaking cars.

Both sides of the back window had water coming in from the cracks. Not even a hard rain. Might have to drop by there and have a chat since I've gotta go to Dallas at some point soon.

So additional update:

Under the RAM extended warranty, I took the truck over to South Pointe in Tulsa. Pretty easy experience. Met with advisor, they confirmed warranty (since outside this I'm way out). Scheduled a drop off. A week later I picked it up. This "fix" is just adding sealant to the back window which I have mixed feelings about. One one hand I am annoyed by the cracks I see on the interior and want it replaced. On the other hand, I care less about the cracks and more about keeping water out. So if the sealant will do that better than a replacement window (that also might crack) then I won't grump about it too much. So far, so good. While it's been raining the last few days I went out every so often to check it and there's been no signs of water intrusion. Dealer did a very clean job of sealing as well --- you have to know to look for it because it's recessed fairly well rather than being ugly hanging out the seams.

They did a fairly good inspection and gave a list of things to check. Honestly, reviewing that, all the suggestions were fairly good, or tied to 100k scheduled maintenance. Pricing wasn't terrible except for lower control arms which IMHO was crazy at 3k. Spark plugs the ask was 650, which having just changed mine in the older truck I understand because labor suuuuuuuucks on that.

Overall South Pointe retains high marks. Seth Wadley can still suck it --- because this should never have been on their outdoor, uncovered lot with active and unfixed leaks.

Dang that crazy! A guy I work with recently bought a 2024 Ram with all the bells and whistles. It’s already been back to the dealership twice with odd issues and now his check engine light is on again and he’s about to take it back in to the dealer for the 3rd time in less than a year.

It’s a super nice truck and feels luxurious for sure. Hope they can iron out the issues…

Truth be told it's doing everything I ask. Boo boo is excited and it's running great so overall I'm not regretting the purchase at all.

Heck it's so comfy I got us home today and boo boo didn't want to get out... She just asked me to come back and give a cuddle and we talked about her day and whatever for a few minutes.
