US officially entered WW2 after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec.7,1941
Well over 100 Battles were fought during the war.
One Battle was on US soil, in Alaska. Battle of Attu.

Battle of the Bulge, was considered one of the Greatest Victories in American Military History.
Americans suffered about 75,000 casualties in the Battle of the Bulge.

Most of this info came from Military History websites. I tried to make sure it is correct.

I just seen on the calendar today was the Eighty Year Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.
