I had a 6" lift on my 90 burb with 35 12.50s. I chewed up the rear of both front fenders in one day of wheeling. Have you been on pirate4x4.com? There are some great threads about lifting these trucks without a lift kit. Using factory leaf springs off of other trucks. Your rig looks awesome. Makes me want mine back.

After tons of procrastination I was finally able to get home at a decent time and get the brush guard mounted. Long story short when I first bought the brush guard it was total junk. It was bent, had damage here and there, all the mounting points were rusted, all the mounting hardware was missing, and it was covered in rust but after a lot of TLC we finally got it back to it's former glory. Unfortunately, I haven't found the time to finish the brackets needed to hold all the led lighting but I promise it's coming. I also managed to get the cubes mounted on the windshield wiper cowl so that I can now spot ditches while driving.

These should be in by the end of the week.

Grill guard looks good. I mounted two lights years ago on a Jeep I used for hunting, right where you mounted yours. They worked great up there for how I used them. Only thing is brush was rough on them there, but never did tear them off. I finally put some limb savers on the front bumper up to the top of the windshield and that really helped with the brush issues.

Looks like the burb has turned into a labor of love for you! It is sure looking better and better the more you mess with it!
