It is what is known as a "conversion" (post '70 motor in a pre '70 frame). I could bore you with all the details. I still have the original engine block and the bike could be restored to its stock configuration. No animals were harmed in the making of this motorcycle.

OK so after 12 pages of this discussion...

Has anyone ever looked into changing the mudders on their 4 wheel drive w/ Super Single semi tires? I would imagine instead of getting 20 or 30k on soft compound mudders you could easily get 100 or 150k. The problem would be getting 22.5 in rims that will adapt to pickups/SUVs.

Hey Flatwins, do all you BMW's look that good? Ever thought of doing a photo shoot of them? I would be very interested. Would also like to see more pics of the others. Like I said, I have been a long time fan of BMW's.
