To this day, I am a free American citizen. I feel a firearm sometime in the past made a difference for me.
A Makorov pistol kept me from being dog feces, a few years ago. She was a starving, pit bull mix, with a litter of pups in a hole in a cliff bank. She nearly got me twice, in the space of an hour. I've told this story before on here, so if your interested you can probably find it. There is no doubt, I would have been seriously injured if not killed. Thank God for my gun.
