The Manufacturer wont accept it from Private individuals, and wanted it shipped from the Retailer, dont know why. I talked to them before I did anything, and I have been told the same thing every time I buy something from them as well. Just now talked to the Store Director, and He is giving Me 25% off My next two purchases. Also talked to the Manfr. and they Do have My piece.

25% off any gun there is better than black Friday prices.

Glad it worked out. I wished I had a gun for them to ship back and stall me out a month. :D

When I worked at Otasco in the 70s I took warranty guns to SW Shooters for service. Went in w/a Marlin 22 Autoloader that was an autoshooter. That was an attention getter. <lol>

I will do you one better. I bought a Marlin 3030 from Bass Pro in August. It was purchased for my son to use for youth deer season. I got it home and found it had a crack in the butt stock. Took it back to them and they said the would ship to Sports World in Tulsa to have a new stock put on it. No problem I think to myself as they said it would 4-6 weeks. I still don't have it back. The last 2 times I called they said they were still waiting on replacement parts from Marlin. I actually went to the store on Saturday and the gun rep wasn't working so they took my name and number and said would call me right back with an update. As of today I haven't heard from them. I'm very disappointed with this experience.
