My brother, who was living in Stillwater at the time, called the Academy in Tulsa looking for a particular shotgun. They told him they had a couple in stock, so he drove to Tulsa to get one. When he got there, the guy at the gun counter said they hadn't had any in stock in a couple of weeks........needless to say, my brother was ticked.

I had this same exact experience with Academy when looking for a specific rifle for a Christmas present. Fortunately, I didn't drive all the way to Tulsa...
