Reports now from Muskogee are that the shooter is the home owner of the house with the reported bomb.
That’s a very impressive response time, but as the old saying goes, when seconds count, cops are minutes away.
While I'm very sad at the loss of life, I am proud of the response by all of the first responders here in Tulsa today. I think that the deaths and injuries were limited by the quick response of TPD and others.
Agreed. Still, the casualties are in the single digits, unlike Uvalde, Buffalo, Parkland, and others.

I finally took a moment to check all the local stations. At 7:35 PM, KJRH-2, KOTV-6, and KOKI-23 are all still live at the scene. KTUL-8 is on network programming.

Exactly. They hauled it when they heard. Kudos to TPD. Those guys do NOT mess around. My daughter had to call them once because of an ex that was showing up and threatening her. They showed up before he could leave, read him the riot act, and followed him home. Told her if he even showed up on a camera near the house they'd haul him in.
That may depend on what rifle he was using.
