And yet SAG-AFTRA and a bunch of actors are defending this POS, saying he shouldn’t be prosecuted for an accident. If he violated a bunch of their requirements, why are they defending him?
I suspect several reasons. Mostly because they are "aligned" with him. It's also a fact that Hollywood is a big cabal. If you wanna work in that industry, you tow the line.

As a whole they are so damned ignorant of guns. They don't know how they work, what they actually do or how they do it, much less how to handle them properly. They know what they've seen on TV. :wink2:

SAG got a lot more serious after Brandon Lee (Bruce Lee's son) was killed. His death was clearly a screw up of epic proportions but totally understandable when you consider the ignorance factor. Now they check EVERYTHING and then check it again. Ammo, gun loaded condition, gun mechanical condition and on and on. They rehearse and dry run scenes so that everybody involved knows what is to happen. The place cameras so that guns don't have to be actually pointing at a person but still appear to be. They hand a gun to the actor and show it's condition to the actors (plural) and if it's a "cold gun" they will dry fire it so all involved know that it is actually a "cold gun".

I can't even fathom how long or the number of people involved in the big shootout scene in Heat if done per the norm! Jeeze!

Former ‘Rust’ First Asst. Director Tied To Death Of Cinematographer Gets 6 Months Probation

Santa Fe, NM – One of three defendants charged in connection with the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust” in 2021 has been sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation.

David Halls, the film’s former first assistant director, jumped on the chance to enter into a plea agreement with prosecutors on a misdemeanor negligent use of a deadly weapon charge shortly after the charge was initially filed in February.

The judge imposed a sentence of six months unsupervised probation, plus 24 hours of community safety and a $500 fine.

Halls must also take a fire safety course within the next 60 days, cannot have any contact with any witnesses or co-defendants, and must testify in all other cases involving the fatal shooting, ABC News reported.

The armorer was not on the set (She assigned to help wardrobe) (Firearm was not scheduled to be used during rehearsal, Baldwin told AD (Assistant director) to go get the firearm, he went outside and got it from a cart and he didn't check it, But told Baldwin it was cold)
He should be charged not the Armorer!
That's no excuse. We taught in the SDA class, when someone hands you a firearm you always check it yourself.

Movie Stars, and Democratic Politicians, can get away with absolutely ANYTHING! President Trump, the ONLY politician on any side, that is ON OUR SIDE, is Indited on 37 FELONY CHARGES, NONE OF WHICH ARE TRUE! This is obviously an attempt to prevent him from running for president in 2024, AND EVERYONE, ON EVERY SIDE KNOWS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS, GUESS WHO IS NEXT, TO HAVE THE FULL POWER OF A GOVERNMENT DISTROY THEM, WITH NO LEGAL RECOURSE? STAND UP, OR LEARN TO LIVE ON YOUR KNEES? Ask yourself one question, and try and be honest with yourself, do you think the Clinton/Epstein child sex slavery ring, that operated totally above the law, for over 20 years, under both parties leadership, would have been exposed had Crooked Hillary been elected President in 2016?? Se what I mean Vern?
