Am I the only one?

I just can not bring myself to wear clothing with ad's for sportswear or companies on them.
Everywhere I look anymore all I see are walking billboards for everything imaginable.
It is even getting harder all the time to find shirts without some sort of branding printed or embroidered on it.
And plain hats are getting even worse to find lol.
Anyone else buy just plain casual wear cloths or is it just me?

I wear some said clothing but only because they are given to me free but if i have to buy them it is just a plian jane with nothing on them.

When I was a kid, there was an ad in the comics to order a giant inflatable Chiquita banana for only $1 and some stickers off the bananas....
I was excited and pointed it out to my grandfather who observed, "Kinda stupid to pay your hard earned money to advertise for somebody, when they should be paying you."

Never forgot that lesson.

Same way with the idea of stickers on my vehicles or safe, etc.

I only wear Carhartt T shirts. Not for the label, but the heft of the material. They are more substantial than your average T. And I only wear Key overalls. Again, they are a little heavier than other brands and just last longer. I do not support professional sport teams anymore.

I do not mind a tag from a maker but it refuse to have shirts printed front and back with logos.

I have probably wore ever brand of overalls on the market at one time or another and all was denim but the last 2 pr i both was Roundhouse brown duck and they have taken alot of abuse the last year or so with snagging on brush and briars and still holding up the only draw back is they fade and show stains badly but i doubt i will ever go back to denim again unless it is for dress for some special occasion. Oh and you can order straight from the factory there in Shawnee.

Since I was a kid I have thought that companies should have paid us to walk around advertising for them. The rebel in me said NOPE. Rather than pay us, they usually even charge HIGHER prices for their wares.
