I’m just not a fan of the way Academy is doing the ammo thing. I was at the Edmond store buying some new camp chairs. Two guys have the isle blocked with a cart that I guess they rolled the ammo out on. I walked past the cart just to look at that ammo isle. The guys got real jumpy about me doing that. They’re just doing their job so my issue isn’t with them.
They’re telling me I need a number and to get in the line, TO LOOK. So the guys waiting in line are blindly spending an hour to maybe not get what they need?

In mwc an employee would come out just before they opened to address the crowd on their current ammo inventory.

As compared to employees calling their friend and a keeping it in the back for them.

As compared to stores not letting you know when you can expect to find anything?

As compared to the before 7am crowd getting all they can and having it for sale online before noon.

Academy sporting n Norman started with this and it went away within 45 minutes as my wife got nothing.

Walmart on NW Expressway in OKC has Winchester 7.62, about 20 boxes. Along with some 12 gauge universal 7 1/2 and 8 in 100 packs

At least the ammo is still coming in on a regular basis.
At some point the shipments will have to get larger and sooner or later it'll start hanging around the shelves longer.

Both Academy’s had plenty of .223 and 5.56 in stock around 12:00. They had Monarch Steel case in 100 round box and Winchester green tips in 200 count boxes.
