I got a phone call I let go to voicemail yesterday.

Can you believe this crap?

Forgiveness programs have been placed in noncollectible status meaning you no longer have to pay them back. We highly advise you not to pay any more of your debt until we discuss your options Once again, call us back at telephone number 8 8 8- 2 0 1- 0 2 5 5 or reach me on my direct line at extension three by calling the number back showing on your caller ID thank you for your time and I look forward to helping you soon…

Telling people they don't have to pay their debts. Well, the prayer does say "forgive us our debts."

When do they become uncollectable?

It is a debt relief company. They have you stop paying the debts, but make monthly payments to them. Eventually the accounts go into collection and they attempt to settle for the amount you have paid them minus their fees. Wrecks your credit if that matters to you.
