I used the .355 BC and 1.5-2.5" sight height and got 124"-126" drop with the above calculator.
That would have kept you from pounding dirt maybe.

I assume you know for a fact the velocity is 2700 fps and not something written on a box of ammo.

Wind will also push a bullet down or up not just side to side.
Gotta love the wind.

I reload and use a chronograph.
no wind yesterday to speak of
vortex manual said it allowed for 66" drop at that distance and apparently it needs twice that.
